PEB SiC 8024   VS  PEB 8032

Thanks to state-of-the-art Silicon Carbide MOSFETs, the PEB SiC modules enable fast switching frequencies, while guaranteeing low losses.

These modules allow to build fast switching converters with superior harmonic performance, more compact passives and thus increased power density.

In addition, the embedded current sensor features a high measurement bandwidth, allowing to precisely sense the output currents, allowing the use of high-speed control techniques.

NEW PROTECTION MECHANISMS

The PEB SiC module allows to implement ambitious converters without the fear to destroy anything, even if the control algorithm is not yet mature. It embeds convenient protection mechanisms, such as over-current/voltage and desaturation detection, that block the module in case of hazardous behavior and thus ensure that its capabilities are never exceeded. Combined with the B-Box inherent protections, the PEB SiC modules are the ultimate solution for safe and efficient converter prototyping.

What’s more, the protection thresholds and the behavior under fault are user modifiable to fit the needs of any application.

Fully-integrated enclosure (4U)

PEB modules can also be placed within a 4U enclosure that guarantees that no dangerous voltage can ever be reached, except using 4mm laboratory safety plugs. In 4U enclosures, imperix implements the same sideboard controller as for the 3U chassis, which here also comes with an LCD display.
